Tsuyokute New Saga - Vol. 7 Ch. 58

The MC needs to let go of his past biases. He should know by now that she is a pacifist, so he doesn't need to be constantly on alert for her. Heck she had plenty of opportunities to kill his friends and hasn't. He also met a demon who confirmed the new demon lords existence so he knows that the old demon lord and the new one aren't related, yet he wants to skip on this perfect opportunity to get additional information? That seems like a bad idea. Yes I understand he thinks it's a trap, but considering he's already killed two of his former companions and placed a new ruler on the throne of a kingdom, he is going to have to take some chances to find out what is going on in the background. He has already completely ruined his old timeline.

@kireato it was said before that "new" demon lord was a winged demon, while the current don't have wings. Furthermore Yulriga the demoness which seems to be a close aids of the demon lord couldn't recall of such a demon. The new demon lord is supposed to be a dark horse who is hiding untill he can overthrow the current one.

An empire built on human supremacy with the free market in chains? Yeah no, they can fuck off.

@leaderreborn - The princess just stated that they are looking to declare war on the demon realm eventually. Not exactly the sort of thing you would sit back and ignore if you were the demons, especially if they just invaded a human country you were in negotiations with.

@degenerateafro - He has screwed up the timeline quite a bit, and probably didn't actually know the true timeline to begin with.

this manga started out great, but completely dropped the whole romance and started giving more development to the fucking side characters lmfao.

seriously what the fuck was the author thinking

Ah yes, the age old "We own everything so we might as well own you too" kinda of ideology. Well this is an extremely mediocre manga, can't say such a generic 'opponent' is all that surprising.

@degenerateafro From the MC's point of view, demons are responsible for the deaths of probably something like two thirds of humanity; and on a personal side, he held the cooling corpses of his mother and childhood friend, was forced to leave a respected mentor to die just to save a few more people, all of his friends died in that final suicide rush to defeat the Demon Lord, and he watched as his lover was literally disintegrated while protecting him, all of which was only undone because of a magic stone that activated moments before his own death and chucked him onto a new timeline.

You don't just "let go" of shit like that. Especially not in the, what, less than a year since it happened. That's the kind of thing that would take decades of therapy to make peace with, and I don't think he'd ever fully be over it. Telling him to just "let go of his bias" is like telling a depressed person to "just cheer up"; you'd be better off just blowing a raspberry in their face for all the good it'd do 'em.

@Mortaze

Thanks! I guess that means we won't meet the new Demon Lord for a while then.

I should read everything again at some point to refresh my memory.

@Vincentius The problem is that all of that shit that happened was the other Demon King. He knows this. Finding out what the heck actually happened should be his first priority. That goes beyond vendettas.

@Umetsu

Carefull - a controversial (for some here) point of view - do not read if you are to sensitive to

Might be, as I reject all the lolis of the world. Legal loli is just a cover for pedos. Liking lolis is disgusting. And saying that its just comic is not an excuse. People who hurt children like that are despicable

This is going for either a timeloop. Each time a version of him become hero and an older version been the demon king.
Or his best friend been the demon king.

@degenerateafro I know; the MC also knows, but that kind of trauma isn't rational. It doesn't go away or get better just because you know the thing you're currently dealing with isn't the exact same as the one responsible for the trauma. For a relatively mild (compared to the MC's, at the least) example: when I was a kid, I had a pet dog that I loved to death, but when I was about 8-9 years old, a neighbor's German Shepherd got loose and attacked her, resulting in her needing a couple dozen stitches. She had to be put to sleep some months later, albeit for cancer than anything directly related to the attack, but my young mind pretty easily conflated the two, since one was visible and the other wasn't. Despite knowing that it was only a specific animal that attacked my pet (who, I might add, had been part of the family since before I was born) and loving dogs, it took years before I was fully comfortable around German Shepherds as a whole.

Don't underestimate trauma and bad experience, if it was so easy to get rid such of things then we won't have a story of veterans covering their ears from fireworks sound every fourth of July. They fully knew it was a fireworks and they fully knew they're in their own lands, not on some foreign land surrounded by enemies. But that won't stop that trauma from came back and torture them. Same with Kyle here.

@Yamibi Loli is not pedophilia you dumb fuck. They don't look like kids and it doesn't hurt anyone. If people think lolis look like actual real life kids they're dumb. I wouldn't be attracted to loli if that was the case.

@Yamibi show me exactly how a loli looks anything like a kid. They're just smaller anime characters. You could take the average lolis face and put it on a less petite body and it wouldn't even look out of place. Because it's a fucking drawing.

Imagine being so completely deluded that you think drawings are children.

Come on bro, not all demons are dangerous. Especially, the current demon lord who surprisingly was able to put up a peace treaty with humanity. Which was in place for 300 years.
