Guys who don't read BL and girls that don't read GL are limiting their options so much. Though, I guess it's also a mental barrier of "this isn't made for me, so I don't want to read it." I know more girls who are into GL outside of their "intended" demographic because there's more shoujo/josei GL that is unequivocally about girls loving each other than there is shounen/seinen BL that isn't about a dude that looks like a girl. And there's more shoujo/josei manga with wlw treated with respect in them than mlm in shounen/seinen. I didn't think my point was going to be "there should be more good gay characters in shounen/seinen" but I guess that's where I ended up

The older i get the more i wish there where more BL/Yaoi stuff actually written for men and not for women. As a teenage it was really nice seeing yaoi but now it feels like every series is just a guy raping another until they "fall" for each other. But at least if I want to see those cute gay happy cute things most GL/Yuri can deliver some nice romances

@chietcom Bars is so nice in that regard because it's literally made by gay men for gay men, but it can be frustrating when all you want is a simple romance with no real porn. There are some that isn't borderline porn, but it can be tricky to find.
That and I do with more fansub groups would lost bars on here. There's a decent amount of Yaoi, but there's hardly any Bara from what I've seen.
