Honestly, the author being gay isn't much of a surprise since the story is pretty realistic (with the MCs problems and all)
I'm happy he found the strength to come out to his mother because of the support of his readers, I hope she'll accept it all and that the author can continue making more volumes in the future (We need to know if Daichi will return MCs feelings man)
