i myself can't even imagine living in somebody else's body, no matter how pretty they are. i'd be depressed tbh

^ I agree. The fact that it steals your relationships/connections with family, friends and other people around you would be the most painful part of the switch 
the benefits/drawbacks of having an uglier appearance is only secondary.
