I think she was applying more stickers higher up on Ueno's thighs, that acted as kill switches for the game. Having that as a safety measure gave Ueno the resolve to carry the plan all the way through, hence the "lend me your strength" line.

@Bainhardt The thigh pun was probably supposed to be a pun of "futodokimono" which means something like scoundrel in Japanese, no idea how you'd preserve that in an English pun though.

I'm always impressed at how well you manage to preserve the meanings of the puns in this series though. Seems like it would be half the trouble of translating it with some of them since even the official anime translations didn't bother with most of them.

@Evat Oh, that's fascinating. I was aware that 太 could also be read ふと, but I didn't try subbing any of the other portions for soundalikes. I do agree that it'd be very difficult to make that meaning sound catchy in English.

Also, thanks. The puns can be half the trouble, but they're also most of the fun. I always find myself enjoying trying to work through tugeneko's mental process, and it was very disappointing (if not a little ego-boosting) to see that the anime was so... we'll say "lazy" about doing the same.
