Ueno-san wa Bukiyou - Vol. 7 Ch. 64 - Saved Ice Machine

gotta say... I'm fine with the other weird food stuff ueno has made so far, but this one is just gross to me, like even Tanaka looks kinda off from this.

I made the same face that tanaka put in this chapter, a little bit disgusting ngl

Wow, she’s such a high level pervert. Every chapter she just gets thirstier in more unexpected ways.

Just make cookies with your love juice already, Ueno. Skip all the back and forth and study the science of love. Also, this invention is pretty neat. Recycling water for consumption is nice.

Since the machine is chilling the water (which could not otherwise be solid unless under extreme pressure), it should be heating the surrounding environment.

I mean, by that logic you could say that we are probably drinking dinosaur piss and various other things every day.
There is nothing wrong by drinking water from a dehumidifier, it just lacks any salt and minerals, technically distilled water.

Anime girl shaved ice > Gamer girl bathwater

Ugh, I unironically want this machine. N-not cause of lewd reasons mind you.

Plus you can use it as drinking water or bathwater if you melt it, and is 99.9% less disgusting than gamergirl bathwater, assuming 100% pure dehumidifier water is possible. Aaaand it's environmentally friendly.

Page seven is some face.

@Equilibrium
You need to filter it, a normal dehumidifier also collects dust and waterbound particulates and bacteria. If you open the tank after a moist day the water is usually murky.

man how many times has she tried to feed him a part of herself? seriously... she is close to giving him her "cookies" and "love" water...

@oeconomist No need to get technical with this, it is a gag manga, all her inventions purposely don't really make much sense from a physics point-of-view. I mean, if you try to apply logic to this, I don't know why she would even think that the water released by her or Tanaka through perspiration and breathing would contribute a significant amount to total amount of water vapor in the room. Assuming the room has like 2000 cubic meters of air in it (which I think is a reasonable for a big science room), the air temperature is 27C, and the humidity is 50%, there are at least tens of liters of water in the form of water vapor in that room. Them breathing and sweating isn't going to dent that, especially when they are only taking enough water vapor out of the air to make a few snowcones.

@PTRB— [ul]The relevant significance of a share here is whatever significance is imputed by Ueno; she might be excited by any positive number of molecules that one might suggest.
Your hypothetical 50% humidity would be considered at or above the upper bound of what is desirable for an indoor environment. The lower bound is usually given as 30%. The room might plausibly be below that lower bound.
Those water molecules whose sources were the human bodies in the room would not be distributed uniformly; the closer some person were to the device, the greater the share of molecules contributed to the ice.
Increased heat would cause increased perspiration; assuming a roughly equal propensity to perspire, the greater share of perspiration would come from the operator of the device because he or she would be more proximate to the source of heat. [/ul]

I'm old enough to remember the time Ueno straight up pissed in a water purifier and tried to make Tanaka drink it.
