the thing is that is confusing me is according to the earlier chapters that tree that we saw which was killing ppl too. yet the girl seemed confused is the prince killing his fiancées or is it perhaps some other person behind the scenes causing their deaths/leading the prince to end their lives bc of their danger to the world. hm. some how i don’t think this situation is as simple as the ml is cruel and kills ppl, expecially since he seemed heartbroken after killing her....idk
