im 175cm tall and im considered tall, some girls in my college class were like 140 cm

@randomizer Yea, she'd be up to around my lips. Although 6' is really tall for a woman, especially in Japan. Even here in the US the average height for a full grown woman is I believe 5'4

@Hollow7F That's something I'm really looking forward to. I'm 6'5 (~195cm) and once I get out of college I plan to teach English in Japan.
I've heard that people tend to stare at you if you're a foreigner in Japan, because the population of Japan is somewhere around 97% Japanese, so you really stick out if you aren't.
I already tend to get a lot of people staring at me here in the states, so I'm interested to see how much more intense it is in Japan.

According to the only study I could find about my country the average height for males is 168.5cm and 155.5cm for females.
I’m about average compared to most of my friends but above average compared to the rest of my family or coworkers, at 178cm or something like that, while my gf is pretty above average for most women I know at 175cm or something like that.
