Add a button to upvote chapter and forum comments. Alternatively a "i agree"-button would also be nice, since right now you either have to write a new comment and tag the person or just silently agree without telling the commentor. Such a button would improve the community aspect in my opinion.

Create a reply-functionality in a similar way to mentions but as a link to a specific post.

as per the sticky thread "Planned and Rejected Features: Read Beforehand" above, both post reactions and a reply button are planned, though according to staff reactions it seems that discord-style reactions are preferred over a single unary/binary system.

Not sure about replying, but upvotes in comments has been suggested and shot down many times before. I think the rationale was to prevent people commenting things for the sake of farming internet points.

Upvote and Downvote / Disqus things are hard rejected already. It just generates a toxic environment focused on getting those upvotes. Its why Snapchat is hiding the Likes from regular people

An,I agree button doesn't contribute to the discussion and the upvote system makes everything a popularity contest.

We don't need a reddit system in this forum.

Having an upvote/downvote system, and potentially even seeing what comments people make on their accounts would be interesting.

At minimum, I would like a system that allows more interaction between comments, and something to the effect of discord-style reactions would be nice as na overall trend. (Plus with discord-style reactions, you can make defacto up/down votes just by using an "up arrow" emoji or a down arrow emoji.)

I'd kinda like to see a two-day comment ban imposed on anyone who starts a new thread with this suggestion.

People should read the pinned thread, and if they truly want to restart discussion on any rejected idea, including the absolutely rotten idea of upvotes/likes/downvotes, then they should dig-up an old thread on the subject and make a new comment to it.

@Oeconomist i read the pinned post and did not find this idea but maybe I just overlooked it. I'm sorry if that's the case, my bad.

@Tamerlane this might be even better, I would love to see that!

I honestly want a like/dislike system just for the sake of seeing terrible people get downvoted to oblivion. But maybe that's just my inner sadism.

@AbyssalMonkey I was thinking about that time EA or some other AAA company gets -240k for their comment on Reddit for promising better experience by having its gameplay as p2w as possible.
