OK, I just can't help this letdown feeling. Sure, she has a pretty decent plot going. But . . . again, we kept seeing this mysterious creepy villain, this outside force that its agents feared, with strange knowledge, that looked and sounded inhuman . . .
And it turns out it's the old bastard's ex-girlfriend. And, she's no more inhuman than anyone else, and she's not from outside the system she's just another clan head--sure, hateful cat clan, but the hateful cat we've gotten to know and love is a cinnamon roll so that's not all that impressive.
