The execution of these arcs/character development moments is insane. On one hand, it feels kind of like the author is making stuff up that fits, but on the other, it fits so well it might as well have been planned, i.e. he/she had a rough plan.

I feel like this author could be a huge hit if they keep at it. A little surprised I'd never heard of this until now.
