Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki - Vol. 2 Ch. 7

@Meyujin you're right, I shouldn't really feel jealousy towards fictional characters lmao, especially since these stories are more targeted towards a teenage female demographic (of course, anyone can read whatever they want). I mostly just read shoujo because of the nice storytelling it has compared to a lot of the shounen ecchi-filled manga (but the quality of a story doesn't really depend on its demographic.) I apologize if the diction i used conveyed an overly aggravated tone; I tend to automatically use vocabulary I picked up from my English class when writing longer comments. That was just my take on the situation at the moment; I didn't expect the characters to be overly mature, considering their age. I still really enjoy this manga, that was just me being nitpicky, and your points are completely valid. Im 16 and have very little experience with romance, so my opinion on this matter doesn't really mean much.

this feels like it's gonna be a really short manga

@Lililily I'm not sure if you read that manga but i recommend Love so life, if you want one where main characters fall in love bc of their personality. Or maybe Princess Jellyfish too.

@NessaRi that were good recomendations. ive read them both years ago. Princesa jellyfish has an anime adaptation too. That was also good.

When even shoujo manga characters watch Shingeki no Kyojin.

As always, Yamamori-sensei's art is gorgeous. But it's accentuated more with all the focus on expressions from Senpai's part (I legit find myself pausing and thinking about how certain panels look to him).

O. M. G. !!!!!!
Ughhh this is seriously killing me. Such a dramatic part to leave this chapter off at.
I never thought of the love at first sight thing. Maybe it is? I like that she realized she wants him to really like her. It started out very funny and just playful. Now we are getting down to those serious emotions. Love it. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

Thank you blueberry scans for the fast translation !!!

The art is gorgeous but I don't think that "love at first sight" is really the same thing as the deeper love of a long-term relationship. Not that the feeling of "love at first sight" is a bad thing - it's totally reasonable for that initial attraction to be the reason why you're interested in someone. I find myself a little frustrated at their conversations about love, but at the same time, they're still young / immature and I can understand that Yoi wants a more direct confession rather than something casual.

Is that what love is? Hmmmmmm? I actually read a manga a while ago that talks abt same thing which leads me to this deduction. “Loving” them at first sight is the same as liking them bec of their looks, you just reversed or make it sound “better.” It’s not really “love,” more like an admiration. It’s a shallow idea of love for me and that’s what prob what the girl is thinking too. Like, hearing someone they “like” you bec of your looks is a major yikes bec if the beauty is gone, so does your love?

Eeeehhh love is really complicated, what more if you’re single af 🥲. I really need to get my essay done instead of writing one here. By—

I feel like Yamamori-san will be the death of me. Her art is just so stunning and her stories simply steal my heart away every time... This 7th chapter simply killed me. I need psychological support!!
