Useless Ponko - Vol. 6 Ch. 43 - Goodbye Ponko

When it comes to why the Ponko model was discontinued and replaced with cloud computing ones, and there are rogue androids on the run... i feel like it's kind of like how in Isaac Asimov's "The Bicentennial Man".

Since the main character was able to develop a personality, indivuality and the capability of being far more than a machine, that robots like him were increasingly made automatons managed by a central hub with no decision power of their own.

I want Ponko to become a roamer that travels through the world and finds it's own path.

Now I know in the future we will have robots that can run faster than Usain Bolt and can catch up to a commuter bus.

Meanwhile, in reality.

*muffled screaming*

*inaudible sobbing and crying*

*more muffled screaming as they realized they can't hear each others*

*confusion and resignation*

Seriously, there's no way she'd hear them or they could hear her.
