Usogui - Vol. 17 Ch. 184 - People Covered In Blood

They sure are coming up with weird gamble concepts late into the manga huh

Wait what do you mean we're not even halfway yet

ohohoho none shall remain unfucked in this game
also, guy with the bandana and glasses? hmmmmm

I just realized the worst part about this

You can't stop the cursor, just move it over. meaning you can only delay the inevetable

Poor Mii-chan she had no idea what she was getting in to coming to work today

Yeah Mii-chan doesnt deserve this.

By the way, now im really suspecting the bandana guy is just Kaji. Which would mean there are 6 cards, 5 for the guests and one for Oshi. I wonder if Oshi counts as participating or not, I dont think he accepted the rules of the game.

Even more, if the game is unwinnable by default, should it really be allowed? There might be a trick to it, like Usogui is letting them one of their crimes not be covered.

@belkrax

Winnable or not never in part of kakerou consideration to see whether the match is valid or not, I think. As long as the participants accept the term, then the match will go as it is...

@9813

Maybe the trick is buying time as much as possible so that his case won't be revealed until the programs ended

@belkrax

Oh god, after you mentioned that, I just realized his name is Kaomi Takaji... it's pretty much Kaji's name, just with the first halves of both names swapped (Kaji's name is Kaji Takaomi). Good catch, I was wondering where Kaji (and Macro!) were during all of this.

Geez, how more rigged can this game get? I wonder if even the whole tablet/card system is being intercepted... Kaji's placement in the panel means he gets some of the bribe money, and can also leak the group's discussions to Baku. He can also mess with the game directly by using cards.

@belkrax damn he got them in such a deep trap, is Oshii even playing the game? he is just the host, he has no way to actually play.

This is great, but after that (too) brief Caracal game of Nim, the build-up chapters feel too slow now lol.

The only way I can see any of the guest panelists winning is if they manage to either prolong the broadcast up to the end, end the broadcast prematurely, or have their guilt disproved. (Baku did say they weren't allowed to leave until the broadcast was over.) There's only a few ways I can see panelists being able to win by.

- The panelist(s) somehow, by sheer luck and chaos, manage to not be proven guilty before the end of the broadcast.
- The panelists cooperate; this would likely mean that each of them would cooperate to expose each darkness before eventually throwing one or several others under the bus; they manage to do this long enough until the broadcast ends. They may also have the potential of chalking up their opinions in order to prolong the conclusion to either their own proven guilt or another's, all in order to buy time, before the inevitable strikes.
- The panelists eventually figure out that one of the panelists is a fake and/or that one or several crimes don't pertain to them, but this would likely involve the risk of exposing one's crime to another, which could land a target on their back. Perhaps exposing Oshii is the way for the participants to win, as how else would the broadcast continue without the host moving it along?
- The evidence shown against each culprit is either made false or credited as misleading.

It does feel like a game of Oshii vs the Panelists. They have to figure out Kaiji there is not the culprit and then Oshi has to avoid having them reveal his darkness.

This is pretty funny. I wonder if any of them actually knew how Amako L File system worked, that they were pinning their crimes on innocent people. Kinda remember that Ikuto had no clue, just paid for it.
