Usogui - Vol. 34 Ch. 371 - Explode

LOL! I can imagine that if it were Baku, he would aim for something like this since the beginning.

Damn I can't believe he jobbed in 1 chapter after pulling that shit last chapter.

Wait wtf, Kaji managed to actually make winning the gun accomplish something??

I like how Kadokura and Boro both just decided to let this broken rubber shield just stay in the game even though it was clearly unusable after all.

Did Kaji really intended all this or did he luck out with hitting the shield handle last match?

His face somehow tells a different story or he's too shocked that the plan actually worked.

Kadokura downright messing with shit by telling Floyd he lent some money to Kaji.

It seems like both referees were fucking with both the players for their own amusement. I approve.

Taking the full brunt of the taser, will Floyd even be able function properly now? Lol

I can already see Kaji making use of that.

What line is Kadokura referring to that Champ said aloud? It seemed like everything was a thought bubble, so I'm a bit lost there.

I don't think Floyd will be down for good just yet, but the fact that he's extremely weakened by the shock means getting the iron shield probably spells his defeat at this point, since he can't even lift it.

...Did Kaji just win on pure, dumb luck??
Also, I can't believe he shot a bullet through the handle and into the table, without piercing the shield. 🤔

I guess the foreshadowing was how the rubber shield was pierced by the sword earlier (Ch 366) but of course the match went on. There wasn't an opportunity for it to be as obvious like the wooden shield cracking open from the sword/gun. In fact, it was never shown again except until Ch 369 where Floyd Lee told Kaji to shoot while showing his chest. The shield below him is the rubber shield which he didn't bother picking up, but the scratch from the sword is still there, visible. Damn

I'm actually hoping this is it for the game. It's conclusive as fuck, unless 'It's just a flesh wound' is also a perfectly acceptable strategy.

Kaji's reaction pretty much mirrors ours. He can't believe he actually won because of a "mistake" he made the previous round.

Ouch.
