You know originally when I picked this manga up I thought the fight sequences were way too over the top and silly, and took time away from the fun mindgames I was expecting. But sometime around the Minowa fight I started to really enjoy them. The way they're drawn is fantastic and they really help to underscore the running themes of the manga w/r/t being able to enforce your gambles (and also helps to illustrate Kajis ability to win even without this kind of violence on his side by moving peoples' hearts).

Pretty much exactly the same happened with me. I did got excited for Leo and Marco vs Kyara, but I remember feeling Kyara vs Sweeper vs Caracal was kinda a chore back then. Minowa vs Marco was what made me flip over and love the fights. Stills miss the guy.

No fight has dissappointed since then.
