It was surprising that there wasn't much comments about Nanpou getting shot on the chapter it happened, maybe because we thought he would still live after that. Nope. It seems Nanpou is dead-dead, and that was just the tipping point for all referees to come under fire. This is wrecking my heart.

As for Bai Long... He was more like a turtle than a dragon there. Then again, we've probably seen turtle dragons before.

I think the reason most people (or at least me) brushed off Nanpou getting shot was Nowa came in very soon after, and it was a rather unceremonious execution for a character we've been following for a while. Compare it to how Kadokura "died" fighting Minowa and it seems much less dramatic.

So part of her torture dream, involves referee Nowa telling her to hook up with her grandson? Or was Nowa actually telling her to hook up with his grandson from outside the dream, and that part made it into her dream?

@Lithe Yeah sometimes it looks like she is bald, other times it looks like they are patches of white hair, i am so puzzled by this.
