Seems we were spot on with the mistaken corpse idea. @Saxifraga great catch with the damaged hand, I didn't even register that it was the same hand Yakou was damaged in already, that really sold the mistaken corpse to Baku. Even Baku isn't immune to making a distorted reaction face after all.

You're probably right. If this didn't happen the way it you suggest, Kyara would likely have been faced up with Bai Long, and I don't think a young Kyara would be able to take on Bai Long at his prime.
Edit: Actually, looking at 378, it's questionable that this particular date happened after that scene. Hana gave Kyara a final warning when he was about to go to the Triad's Hideout. I think this exchange occurred after that warning.

Is Bai Long being the strongest Character a possible suggestion

He's not at his prime anymore (Old) and is rusty (Not continuing the business/assassinations) yet he fought a Task Specialist with reinforcements and decimated 2 Referees and now he's fighting Yakou when he's still injured from the back to back fights

Looks like something happened to Ryusei when Cameo appeared last chapter but I don't remember what happened to him so does anyone know

Feels sad for Bai Long man; I feel like he'll die before meeting Ying

@LuffyKun Maybe? Yakkou has his hand disadvantage too, but Bai Long is definitely top tier. Its really hard to tell. I wonder if Taka was stronger back then. The fact that she gave him a bad time when he held back makes it unclear.
