@Othercentaur The average height over there has been on the rise slowly for the last few decades or so, but it's still only something like 5' 6" for men iirc.

Also 180 cm is closer to 5' 11" than 5' 9", so he is pretty significantly above that average in height.

Is 180cm really that tall in Japan? I wouldn't be considered really tall in Australia and I'm 188cm, I guess population really matters that much
