Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! - Vol. 2 Ch. 22 - Kouhai and Sashinomi

Oh no. I hope he turned over fast so she doesn't choke. That's actually pretty scary.

It's sort of refreshing to have characters actually get drunk off of alcohol instead of "soda" or "juice"

I can't say I relate.
My parents bought me a bottle of scotch for my birthday when I hit the drinking age. It's four years this month that it's been sitting unopened on the alcohol cabinet.

I'm Scots Irish so... and not the American kind, the actually born in Ireland with Scottish extended family kind... and we're spirit drinkers. What I'm trying to say is I have no sympathy.

Are we missing pages? How did they skip over the sleeping part? Such a waste of potential.. ?

Every waitress in this manga are pretty stacked, Ami, the cat cafe, now the izakaya ...

干杯! 干杯! 干杯! 干杯! 干杯!

Every other girl in this manga is dekai. What sets Uzaki apart is SUGOI dekai.

Heh. I remember my first time drinking. For what ever reason I decided to play a drinking game for my first time. I don't know how many shots I had but by the end of the night I was just taking sips out the bottle. Let's just say I threw up rather violently.

First time I drank (under-age, of course) I had a pint of Scotch. Got sick. Now, I can't even stand the smell of the stuff. Next time (at least waited until college) it was tequila. Same thing. Grad school study in Greece meant it was ouzo time. Rinse & repeat (can't really stand the smell of licorice candy even.) So now it's strictly gin drinks, beer, & a little red wine - & everything's fine.

Uzaki hit the nail on the head when she complained that Senpai was getting preachy. Kind of annoyingly so, in fact. Don't quite get what she finds so interesting about him, tbh.

@givemersspls

A lot of businesses in japan are significantly behind in terms of technology use in the workplace. Many offices are still using fax machines.

I read this one manga (forgot the name, but it has a loli death god working in an office or something), where a supervisor refuses to accept work done by an excel worksheet because machines can be wrong (or some other bullshit explanation). I'm not sure how true that particular thing is in Japanese offices.
