Vagabond

i still can't believe how much Musashi grew on me throughout the story. he started out as barely likeable brute but slowly became my favourite character maybe EVER to have existed. same with Matahachi, really. all of the character are such a joy to observe.... and the philosophical nature of manga really helps them shine. ironically enough for me, this story "about samurais" is at it's peak when there is no one to fight. i just love to see them reflecting on the main themes of the manga. which isn't to say that the fights are boring or whatever, actually the opposite. they are one of the most engaging fights i have had the pleasure to witness in the manga format. oh, how i wish the author came back from hiatus....

also inoue is a god when it comes to art, holy crap. he could draw twenty-something panels of just mud, rain, rocks and trees and i'd consume the shit out of it, begging for more. 10/10

This manga is an honest to god masterpiece. Such a shame it's unfinished, though it provided ample entertainment along the way.

Indefinite hiatus, probably will never be finished. The author was burned out while making this, and that is completely understandable since this is a classic and the art is very detailed and the quality hardly ever dropped. Right now, he is working on REAL which he picked back up again so we might have some hope.

Here is a comment I copied off reddit with some info:
The sendai exhibition was not the ending, but the last exhibition it was the ending of the book, with an old musashi passing his works to his pupil Fuki and them seeing a last time a adult jotaro his new name is Jōnosuke and his son, old Ishun visisting him, and when he dies he talks with baiken, Inei, Ueda, Seijuro, Sekishūsai, Otsu, Kojiro and his father munisai, I got 85 drawings of 100 of this book and the translated text on a mega link I uploaded: https://mega.nz/#!tdx1laoI!O1ywGKYXhvrEk1gCyM8Gh6lnLMIJ-EeDizpgs-fKmOw

I want to read this but a bunch of chapters are missing
Why are so many chapters missing ?
There's no point in having a chapter 320 if i cant start with chapter 1

what happened to the first chapters? I swear I had seen them here before... or am i tripping?
