Even normal people can enjoy or at least find interesting a loli manga, for example, the works of artists like Hideo Azuma, Uchiyama Aki, Oyari Ashito and Machida Hiraku have been featured on art expositions, likewise the works of Takamichi for the covers of the Comic LO and the artbooks compiling those covers are highly praised for outstanding artistic quality. The book Green-out of Machida Hiraku got reviewed on the Asahi Shimbun, it is said that he has a good amount of fangirls and mangakas like Ishikawa Jun has also praised this author. Then there is the case of Quzilax with Loli Friends, that one shot was so impactful that got praised both from professional critics and mangakas and the guy has got a good amount of fangirls since back then. Now if we are talking about Higashiyama Shou then you need to know that Implicity was not only about raping lolis like you may think but also about things like biopunk and it was good enough as a SF manga that a guy did a extensive analysis of the series and recommended it to The 38th Japan SF Award. Higashiyama Shou likes to describe psychologically his characters and his lolis tend to be pretty intelligent and even independent, so I may not find outside of normal if the average Japanese female reader of erotic manga finds the Comic LO works of Higashiyama Shou as interesting even if they are not into lolicon, for example, Japanese Preteen Suite got featured on Erotic Manga Women's Association and that manga volume was precisely the one that made me an huge fan of this author.

Sometimes you have to separate the author from their hentai works no matter how horrible it may be. Like who cares if an author draws little girls being brutally raped for the pedophiles? Who cares if an author draws scat porn for the shit enthusiasts too? Who cares if an author draws a man anally penetrating his dog for the zoophiles? As long as they don't do that shit in real life, everything is okay. These mentally ill people after all, are already rejected from modern society. Jesus christ, amen.

@principeinquisidor You are trying to justify Higashiyama Show. Just don't. Making very graphic gangrape scenes doesn't makes it cool or nice. He have good mangas and have pedophiles violent mangas as well. He can be praised for the good ones as well criticized for depictions of gang rape of underages and etc. Nor because someone liked and analysed and etc or recommended does it make seems less violent gang underage rapey.
