@Shipmint We do, but we cannot harm the assailant while trying to stop them. Do that and you'll be considered as an assailant by the law, as well.
 
Reminds me of the story where a burglar sued the homeowner for injuries or something.
 
You can't hurt the guy trying to hurt you? Hahahaha wtf is that shit. Thats like saying if you're bullied dont fight back.
 
Same in europe... Police in both itsly and sweden are afraid of criminals because they cannot defend themself.. They are penalized if they use force to apprehend the criminals... Like do you expect a murderer to just follow you if you order them to?!
 
Literally same in europe. Person can go into your house with a gun, and if you hurt him you can go in for assault. Can't claim it as being unrealistic.
 
What the fuck is this? Does this really happen? Hitting a criminal on scene isn't allowed in some countries?
 
I remembered an article that an man protected himself from the criminal then got arrested for 2 months
 
Look at the bright side, at least the criminal isn't the cops who are supposed to protect you.
 
Yuhh. In my country, there was a guy who caught a robber who had gun and machete, it was self-defense, he beaten the robber into pulp. The robber only got 3 months for an attempted robbery, and the guy got 3 years for assault. That's utterly shit
