Villain Initialization - Ch. 55

There's something hopeful about the fact that the artist clearly puts in the effort to make everything look sufficiently impactful. Simple stuff like a hand gripping a vial and a syringe, even, and in an industry that seems to discourage that kind of thing to boot.

This shit better not go the way of The Wolf Won't Sleep...

Thanks to the translator team for the chapter. Time to cheat and make the hero work to give you cash scheme start. Also @twinklecake why u gotta salt my new wound and true about that. I read the Novel translation and its LIT sad that they cut short on the manga

I love this fucking Manhua, the first Manhua that got me hooked on its story, the arts godamn amazing for a manhua too

I love this so much. I've read hundreds of manhuas, and dropped them all sooner or later. None of them made me feel remotely like this. The plot is reasonably deep, the characters are very well portrayed, the art is on spot, the pacing is good, the science is true (enough), the references are amazing and the protagonist is very competent, yet feels human. It just balances everything so well, the humor, the drama, the action, the nostalgia... It's the kind of thing that gives me awe, makes me wonder how people can be so talented to get so close to perfection (especially when there's such a huge volume of competing crap).

God this manhua is one of the only five good ones... you can see how well the plot works together, and all of the characters are interesting

May I know the other 4

@7Lotus the only one I can think of is Song of the Long March. It’s a beautifully drawn manhua with good characters and a likable MC. If you like manhua about strategists with an intelligent plot (not some oh I saw it in my previous life because I’m a genius nonsense), then read it. Idk if Release That Witch is manhua, but I really like it, and would also recommend it, although it doesn’t have the intelligent plot of the first one I recommended. The last one is Su Luxia. It’s actually pretty bad, but if you have the same horrible taste as I do (edgy seinen/josei), you’ll like it. The female lead manipulates everything behind the scenes. She’s insanely cool. The other 2 manhuas I said because I can’t assume all of them would be bad lmao. Then I would be generalizing.
