There's quite a large number of VN/[RPG, Tactics, Strategy, etc] hybrids out there, actually.

There are also plenty of games that use VN-style cutscenes [in other words, swapping the genre emphasis] that, as far as I've seen, VNDB doesn't cover. While Steam doesn't have the best VN selection yet, and the functionality of its tagging system is a disaster, that's still a decent place to search out games against multiple tags.
