Weird how many "children" do it everyday.
Also she was not a "child" when it happened but a teenager.

Also never said it would be easy just that if that is what she wanted there was no one to stop her.

@mahtan children or teenager all the same, still underaged without graduation papers, work experience etc. Actually teenager could possibly have harder time getting somewhere than a child would have. (Also you have to remember the backstory taking place in korea)

Of course she could just walk out, but that would be stupid and irrational, especially without a support system. It was best to stay in the house since without it graduating, let alone attending university would have been close to impossible.
