i read somewhere that once they start liking her, reynold likes her in a familial way, but derrick likes her in THAT way so maybe that's why lmao I'm not here for that siblings to lovers type stuff 🤮

In this world, I’m trash and they’re all good-looking, and I want them to fall in love with the heroine (or at least truly care about her). Hopefully the heroine has a better hero than abusive fucks as a love interest.

I still don't like them and won't like them unless they have sort of "character development" and redeem themselves. Not by treating her better unlike before, but actually acknowledging that they treated her like trash in the past and apologizing about it. I've read some spoilers that Derrick is going to be the ML and it's going to be that incest type of shit. Sigh, I'm not here for it, I'm only going to be here for the journey of her escaping her god-forsaken family. 🙃

while I think it's for plot. I also think the brothers are approaching MC because she isn't being nasty. obviously they know she isn't their sister by any means. she was a spendthrift and had a horrible temperament - I've had arguments with a "wall" before. where it just rounded back to insubstantial evidence and crude insults, and by the end of it, I started talking on their level. people are unpleasant to be around of but because of circumstances, it winds down to ignoring them and immediately becoming defensive out of habit
I hate the brothers, with how much the author had built up how MC hates her circumstances. I hope to see their perspective of what she was like before.
