I mean even if she was just guessing the real Penelope’s past it shouldn’t take rocket science to understand that what she told him could have been her everyday life, she can’t bury her mother since she was poor, she survived off of food other people already ate, and a simple cold could kill her because she doesn’t have any medicine. Of course she wouldn’t want to go back to that life so she wished the daughter who lived life easily wouldn’t come back. Yet “whatever his name is” acted like he was the victim, he never starved and his mother at least got a funeral (I think) if he got sick there was always a doctor by his side no matter how expensive. In the past they lived contradicting life’s so the “whatever his name is” is spoiled, stupid and selfish.

Yes!!!! That was so satisfying!!!!!!!! Even if the satisfaction was built off of lies..... I'd like to think that the heart of everything Penelope said about her "past" was the truth, and that when she was a child, she really didn't know better. Her personality warped due to the inhumane way that she was treated in that house.

I can't wait for Season 2!!! Anybody know if there's a date for when it's supposed to come out??

Older brother(D) realized his feelings for MC but it was too late
Younger brother(R) only had a brother-sister type of love for MC
The "hidden route" was the option to go back to the real world but MC decided to stay with the prince
MC in the real world got cancer and eventually died since her soul stayed in the otome game.
Yvonne (The real daughter of the duke) is the antagonist and is actually a member of a cult
MC was cursed that's why she was hated by her family in both worlds.
