Villains Are Destined to Die - Vol. 1 Ch. 7

This scene went very differently in the novel, for one, the choice dialogs were a bit more vulgar, secondly, she didn't choose not to use the typing option, she never unlocked it, thirdly, the part with dad is where it was the most different, or maybe I'm comparing it to a later scene, I remember the dad being horrified at her begging on the floor, and telling her to have some pride as she carries the Eckart name, wait, yes, that was a later conversation.

The pride to throw away pride. It's quite something. This is an infuriating situation that only someone with experience could bear for as long as she has.

That said, I'm enjoying their startled faces. It might just be surprise at her behaving, but I like the idea of them rationally knoing what pieces of shit they're being and realizing they don't get to have her tantrums to absolve them of guilt anymore.

I honestly feel so bad for her. It must have taken a hit on her pride to continuously beg for forgiveness (even though it’s clearly not her mistake) but she did it in order to survive. She’s better off not choosing any of those jerks tbh.

Wow. I feel so bad for her. Even in her past life she haad to bring herself down for many others.
Poor girl. My heart actually clenches for her.😢

Broke immersion for me to think that an actual game wouldn't have scripted dialogue. I prefer that it doesn't, but just saying.

All this begging is horrible. I do understand why she is doing it, but seeing her crawling through all that shit is still hard to read and not very entertaining.

And truth to be told, all the introduced, antagonizing characters (not a small percentage) are pretty stupid "I'am so evil, because...I'm evil and rich/in a better position than you" 1-D villains. Not very high quality till now. MC is the only well developed character so far and carrying the whole story.

Oddly enough, I'm saddened to see the forced options go. In a way, it was sort of refreshing to see a MC struggling with the system which clearly wants her dead... I understand why she would NEED to disable options, but it's still sad a 'unique' plot device go.
