Dunno why, but I kinda like that old chain dude. Some may say he's cruel, but all he does is play fair and reasonable, if you still fail, then it's really your fault.

I always though Haalfdan is the villainous type, but in reality he isn't so bad.

Seems like he is just a misunderstood businessman. If he was really cruel like some believe then I doubt his wife would be so willing to ridicule him and his decisions.
