Ginger is just trying to beat Lerajie in her own game, it's not really about love. The ML doesn't actually matter to her. She's only after him because in the book, Lerajie gets him and she doesn't want Lerajie to get her happily ever after. I hope the author always keeps that rivalry because that's what makes this so funny for me. And to me it's like Lerajie actually cares for Ginger as well in a frenemy way.
