VRMMO de Summoner Hajimemashita - Ch. 5 - 5th Summon: Summoner Change!

Protag is right. It's okay so long as it's cute. Gender is a suggestion. Wear that bunny dress.

"We have an elf, a scout and a healer" Is Elf a class? >.<
On the image he show 2 finger, I think its more "an Elf scout and a Healer" :D

He can wear it ingame, there is no prob with it. The Prota is allowed to do anything in this game,
because this games bullies summoners anyway
, therefore ... go for it.

Whenever people introduce themselves in these MMO-based series ("I'll protect you with my shield!"), I can't help but recall this old this comic that was like...
Imaginary healer: "I... I'll do my best~~! 🤗"
Real healer: "Tank, WTF are you doing, stand in FRONT. Mage, scale back your DPS or I'm going to stop healing you. You know what? I hate you all. 😒"

"Judges, please?"

"10."
"10."
"10."
"...9."

"9?! WHAT THE HELL! DID YOU NOT GET ENOUGH HEADPATS OR SOMETHING?!"

@Tesla - Back when Dungeons and Dragons first came out, the original red box set, Elf, Dwarf, and Halfling were all classes. Some video games kept that idea at least up through the 90s, so maybe the author grew up with that stuff.

@CelticMutt : the red box is not the first release of D&D, it is not even the first version of Basic D&D. The first release classes were just Fighting-Men, Magic-Users and Clerics. (Owns copies of the core rules books for Origional, Basic, and Advanced (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, 4th and 5th editions))

@sjmcc13 - Cool. I didn't know there was an even more basic version. I have the original red box and 1st ed PHB from the 70s that my cousins left behind when they grew up, but didn't really start until 2nd in the early 90s.

Okay, performing a shinken shirahadori on the text box calling him a pimp master for getting his minions to do all the work for him was a pretty good sight gag. I enjoyed that. Almost as much as I enjoyed his reason for keeping the bunny set being "it's cute" and not "it's functional".

As someone who got into maple story 2 solely because it was cute, I can't help but agree with our MC

@CelticMutt: For reference :
OD&D 74
BD&D and AD&D MM 77
AD&D PHB and DMG 78
Mazes and Monsters TV movies with Tom Hanks 82
BD&D Red Box 83
AD&D 2nd edition 89

From here, I'm guessing the story goes something like:
-game releases
-devs realize that Summoners are actually really OP if played right
-too late to patch, so try and stunt early growth to dissuade people from choosing it
-MC doesn't care cause not a minmaxer
-becomes OP by being a casual player a la Bofuri

Unrealistic, should have multiple duplicates of every item except for the one piece that was missing.
