This is probably about Hololive chinese VTubers.
The company decided to just stop working in China as it would mean they have no real freedom in their job and should literally weight every single move, thinking if some triggered keyboard warrior (aka no life king) can find some weird way to turn a joke into a political stance, that is a burden too big, and even doing everything clean China can just invent a reason to ruin everything, funds, days of work, can all go wasted because of some asshole.
Is only normal for Hololive to return to Japan, anyway China will probably try to copy with their own version of VTubers and then having to go against the same problem with their government, with the added risk of getting jailed for a joke.

I fell sad for the chinese VA that had just started.
