@Petnavis I beg to differ, sure it can break the story's atmosphere (I had it happen in the past and just went "Uhg") but it can also spicy things up.

My point is, I'm all in for smut, as long as...
1) it's not every 2 chapters or story-focused on it (that's not interesting at all).
2) it's not extra explicit (as you say, it lowers the quality) .
3) it's not absurd (like throwing together 2 persons that hated each other or even worse, heavy non consensual stuff).
Like e.g. https://mangadex.org/title/44346/the-evil-lady-s-hero (I'm a succah for this art style, thou' story still needs to develop).

Please don't hit me for using this example, as the first chapters suggest it happened in a "non fully consensual" way but developped thereof

But then I've read stories like https://mangadex.org/title/39346/the-duchess-50-tea-recipes (Lord give MC some ribs) that just "imply" the idea of something happening (and I really like it that way).

Either way, I'll just pray this is not an edgy-styled story with multiple (possible) romanceable characters (I'm not much into harems).

All that said, I will respect all opinions on this. I prefer good and interesting plots/stories (be it spicy or not) :3
