@mahtan there's a difference between powerless and not strong enough. If the story were longer she could have swung from overconfident (part of why she was in a pinch and touched on in her inner monologue) to crushed, and then back to a healthy middle. Instead it got squished.

I gotta say i expected this to be like a ~50 chapters type of manga and not 12 chapters. Ending was super rushed but at least the scene the two of them hugging in bed was cute.

@BlueCatMage From my understanding, family lines whose women were always born with otoshi marks had a higher likelihood of giving birth to magic-using women. One family tied to use that knowledge to breed and hopefully give birth to a magic-using girl, but instead a boy, the future Chief Gjestad, was born.

@Hollow7F Not saying he doesn't deserve an "eternal punishment" (I would just kill him) but that (eternal stasis swimming) feels a little too heavy a punishment for his initial crimes (the punishment simply got heavier because he found out about Eco's secret) on top of it being riskier since it is possible for them to escape one day.
