I wonder how much more powerful than the rest of people he already is.
He started cultivating earlier than most of the people, has more knowledge, more combat experience and techniques and got resources faster than anyone.
If something like this were to actually happen, the Chinese government would send in the military and seize everything. The cultivators might be strong but they're not yet strong enough to deal with a multi-million man modern army.
@dtim You're forgetting the fact that even soldiers would be thrown into chaos if all this was going on,
Besides that, even the most disciplined of people might fall prey to going on a power trip from suddenly becoming a cultivator with "mere humans" around them.
Humans are very easily thrown into chaos, and the ones in power are still human as well.
@jebjordan Dealing with "chaos" is pretty much exactly what soldiers train for. Besides, the story talks about the world being thrown into chaos but hasn't shown it at all. The writer is just straight up ignoring the military. Maybe the writing gets better later, I had to drop this after the "nuke." I couldn't take it at all seriously any longer.
@dtim yeah that's understandable.
Also sorry for mentioning you before, I didn't realize it was from a month earlier.
But yeah, so far he hasn't shown it at all, however if it's as he said in words then I assume it'd be too chaotic to cope with.
Either way though, yeah, that was a ridicilous plot point lol. Random sects with nukes? lol
