If a wolf or w.e those dog like animals are can be seemingly as intelligent as a human or at least as smart as the mc in this case lol, I don't see why he would have a problem with a relationship with her. I know he has a human soul and I don't know if he will be able to change form because I think he is a Fenrir (or however you spell it) which don't have that ability or at least I've never seen a case of that. Yet, he may not have a high libido yet and he is only like a year old and for his species who knows when puberty hits.
