Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! - Vol. 16 Ch. 157 - Because I'm Not Popular, I'm Suspended

I too called bullshit about the not contacting thing untill i noticed it was a inschool suspension wich wasn't very clear in the chapter to be honest
Also i am starting to feel really bad for ponytail girl, she just wants to know if breast were groped.
Don't we all?

Very different and fun. One of the more innovative chapters. It's funny how when someone who annoys you goes away it can get under your skin. That happened to me when I was married.

I like Fuuka. She's pretty sympathetic and she's beautiful.

Day 4 - the harem is growing discontented.

Asuka is probably kicking herself because she didn't think of a way that she & Tomoko could end up sharing in-school suspension for a week.

So, according to Eroin-chan, some old guy taped videos of your adolescents girls and send them out to the school.
I mean, that could be justified in some way if it was a recurring routine for the girls to ride at night and make a commotion with their bikes, but Yoshida just shuttled Tomoko home for once.

And yet, the ones getting sanctioned are the girls. For ridding some 25cc motorbike. They barely go faster than a electric bicycle.
And I mean, don't they have a "warning" system in their school ? I get it Yoshida probably his in the eyesight of the school committee because of her anger issues, but Tomoko ?
Outside that one time Tomoko she got caught looking at porn and that other time she pretended to smoke, isn't she considered a behaving student ?

It's hard to caught the logic of this school sometime. Causing a commotion in the cafeteria: not sanctioned, being a passager on a 25CC motorbike: 1 week suspension without previous warning just before the graduation exams.

@BaGamman Japanese society is much more traditional than Western society. Students are seen as representatives of their school, that’s why some schools even require their students wear their uniforms 24/7.

High school in Japan is very strict because they place a huge emphasis on morals and community. If a student has loose morals, they punish them harshly. The Japanese would look at a Western high school and be appalled at how the students behave.

And if your parents are super traditional, an in-school suspension is preferable to an out of school one. There are stories of parents nearly starving their children because they were suspended.

lol emoji girl

but chapter felt so empty without Kuroki and it really showed really cant wait to see her back and see how everyone reacts

sometimes people joke around saying this has turned into a yuri harem and I laugh, but then I read chapters like this one and I'm like. wait was it a joke?

We all miss Kuro.

I hope that perverted ossan who videotapes highschool girls gets run over by a 12-wheeler.

Really shows how completely the story has moved into the school with that cloud of girls. We never even found out how Tomoko's mom and brother react to her getting suspended.

@IJustMadeThisToComment Well, I doubt that. Apparently, she still has to come to school (her outdoor shoes were in her locker) and stay in the counseling room during the suspension period (indicated by some of the other girls looking at its door/sign from the hallway several times within this chapter).

Small note that there was a delay before Asuka actually answered Fuuka. That got lost in translation.

So I was right and she got suspended for bullshit reasons.

I understand Why they got suspended, but I still think is stupid considering Tomoko got a free lift home by Yoshida who was being nice.

I hope this doesnt reflect badly on her exams tho

To be fair to the school, it would only take one accident involving a student on a motorized vehicle, especially in the surrounding neighborhood, for this policy to set in.
