Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! - Vol. 16 Ch. 158 - Because I'm Not Popular, I'll Be Suspended

And yet, tfw you realise Tomoko mother, who seems to be the typical overly expecting mother, is a lot less stricter than your own mom.
My mum kicked me out of the house for a week when I left school earlier once knowing the teacher wasn't coming and got 2 hours suspention for it....

I havea doubt, how can the school have a rule that forbids riding on scooters when the student is allowed by the state to ride that time of scooter without a driver license?
Maybe I'm wrong and they still ask for a driver license in Japan, but still, at Tomoko's age is already legal to ride that motorcycle.

i really wonder if they're about to show the whole suspension the full week, i mean this wasn't bad in a way it was interesting

but im looking forward to when the suspension is over and everyone else sees them again was see the reactions especially emoji girl

@Panino Is a school, they can set their own rules, like how in some mangas they don't allow students to do part time jobs even though they legally can work, or how they require students to use uniforms.

Law don't matter at all, the school only wants to protect its image by not having hooligan students who ride scooters, work in cafes and don't wear their ties

@Nari , I mostly agree, but do not forget Japan is still Asia. The manga shows plenty of situations where even by today generation, reputation is extremely higly important.

@pesimus
Yoshida's problem is her huge anger issues.
Any mild anger is grounds to explode with her. Also, she's probably from a rich family with uncaring parents, hence her general emotional immaturity. Otherwise she's shown to be pretty altruistic.

Yikes, Japan don't play around. A suspension over here is simply "you don't come to school until further notice" - a temporary expulsion essentially.

We do have something similar to this called 'isolation', but it's still nowhere near this level. It's essentially a normal school day but you spend the whole thing in a seperate room where no talking is allowed. It's only for serious cases like assault though.

Incidentally, was riding a motor scooter grounds for suspension because it's illegal, or simply because it's against school rules? If it's the latter, why would that be the case? I know Japan has some strict rules about how you present yourself but why would riding your own vehicle be part of that?

@Xelda in New York i once got in school suspension (because i got punched in the face, the other dude got 1 yr community service for hitting a female minor and a restraining order, i got suspended... somehow... lmao) so for a week i did basically what kuroki did, forced to sit in a class all day doing work nonstop, it sucks

Yoshida, dishing out that sweet stereotyping-revenge on Tomoko lol
She was deff way more chill because she felt bad she got Tomoko in trouble with her

What I wanna know is who the fuck is such a busy body pervert to photograph high school girls and tattle on them????

"WE MUST SUSPEND YOU TO MAINTAIN OUR IMAGE"

GTFO
