Asuka super pissed for not being #1, somewhat awkward interaction among Mako and the delinquents (she's gonna become part of the group, lol), Ucchi being tsun as usual, Nemo with the bump-fisting (again!)... Man, this chapter was damn good...

What the problem with Asuka ? Why did she get pissed off Tomoko call someone else ? She is the only one who seem to had a problem with it. On another note, hooray for my girl Ucchi who manage to apologise, even if she prefer than admit Tomoko is not gross.

Asuka is insecure about her friendship with Tomoko; she feels that incidents like the phonecall with Yuu instead of with her or taking Ucchi's drink instead of hers, etc, are proof that Tomoko isn't comfortable around her and that they aren't really friends, whereas Tomoko thinks Asuka is too good a person to be friends with someone like her and keeps her at a polite distance so as not to gross her out, thereby causing Asuka's insecurity. That's what the open campus chapter was about, but it still hasn't been resolved.

This is really fun, and it's really consequential. We haven't had a chapter that handles so many relationships at the same time since the Disneyland field trip, I think.

And Mako is now an honorary delinquent. Anna's lovey look at Yoshida was great.

And damn, Hina, just spill about that fist-bumping insult long ago. Tomoko would be sorry, really, especially if the dog went up Asuka's skirt.

One piece of evidence for the genius of this series is the merging of friendships. Yoshida's gang is now conversant with everyone else, not just because of friends they share but because of having someone new to hang out with.
