To people wondering, a lot of asians girls get the eyefold surgery to look cuter, it makes the eyes more noticeable. Pretty much 100% of idols. It's a very simple and common surgery that takes a few minutes. And it only make a subtle change. As far as I know there aren't really any major pressures to get it or not.

Whether it is good or bad for girls to want to conform to views of beauty, I'll not make a judgement on that. Just know in the US, there are similar surgeries. I won't mention them. And I'm not talking about boobs.

I explained below about eyefold surgery, lol. Lots of girls in japan are already born with the extra fold in their upper eyelids. But many asians instead are born with that area smooth. modern cultural norms have made some facial features more attractive in japan to certain people, like a round face, feminine jaw line, long lashes, the fold in the upper eye lid, etc.

Anyway it's considered a very minor cosmetic surgery to add just a little fold to the upper eyelid for girls born without it. Takes just a few minutes, very little risk. And yes most races of non asian descent have the extra epicanth folds 100% of the time. Some refer to it as making their eyes look more western, but there are still plenty of asians that are born with it naturally.
