I don't get it. What exactly do they mean when they say about being yankee? She doesn't do any "yankee" activity since HS. Does they mean she should become more trendy and girly? But then yankee sounds pretty dumb in this context. But if "stop being yankee" means stop being constantly grumpy then I wholeheartedly welcome this change
