I think a lot of people won't appreciate this one. It's not a huge adventure through crazy circumstances, there's no massive change or developments to the world or characters. Thing is, real life is like that. In our normal day to day we don't live in a manga-like world. It's all very slow and boring to watch, there's nothing amazing about it. I think this embodies that feeling of normality really well. They change and grow but it's small, slow, it's a short meandering path to the characters understanding themselves a little more and that's all. I loved it, but it won't fit the tastes of a lot of people.
