I haven't finished reading the chapter, but note to the translator: This is a high-quality manga. There's no way "the raws were pretty nonsensical" at any point. If there's a problem anywhere, it's with your understanding of Japanese. Don't blame the author and editors for that.

Edit: saw the note at the end that the source was "sketchy Chinese raws." Welp, Garbage in, Garbage Out.
