I guess I'm one of those who wanted the romantic relationship in the end. I did go into this expecting an age gap romance but in this case, I think I'll trust the author on this one and see where she takes these two. I guess I'm disappointed that the romance will not happen but the story is so good, I think the best thing is to shift focus and see how this all plays out.

No romance, then, now I feel pity for her. Is this what women want, nowadays? Be a wage-slave until the day you die and if you're lucky enough, fulfill your maternal instincts with a random kid instead of cats? So sad, fuck the system.
