What I loved the most is when Shikawa threatens to rat out Mashuu a second time and he's like sure do what you want. I feel there is always a correct age to shut down things. The age at which he was separated from Satoko was actually perfect, and only by crazy chance they were able to reunite. However if anyone tried to separate them now there's like a million ways to keep in touch for a high schooler. Also most likely Shikawa won't do anything which would get Satoko into serious trouble.

As I was reading Shikawa explaining Satoko's habits so closely it never occurred to me the dude really glared hard at her. That way damn you gotta hand it to kids, they simply state facts flat on your face.

I have to re-read the earlier chapters but I don't think Satoko had a high opinion of Shikawa which is why he probably got talked down by a brat. His pause when Mashuu outright asked if Satoko liked her is painful in its own way. Innocent highschooler went to meet his onee-san but ended up roasting his onee-san's ex. Fate works in strange ways.

I've read two other manga where the parents were actually super cool with their child dating someone much older. Hell I've read a visual novel where the older sister (only family) actually accepted lil bro dating a girl older than her(can you even find this IRL?). So guess WnS balances it with his father's realistic view. Though its an insult of what Mashuu thought of Satoko back then.

Hahah, the dude is great, hope he can heat things up as the internal monologue can be tiring to read since they never really talked it out and just keep them inside, I guess its just another way to make this longer and naturally have them opening up .Not sure about shikawa being a rival though but maybe he will, can be funny too to see everyone flustered/shocked than the usual solemn/depressed face.
