Ugh! Yet another one of my least favorite plot devices has been employed: blackmail.

Let me guess what's going to happen:

She will immediately cave in to Stalker-jerk's demands since her father suddenly showed up.
She will suggest that her father hires him, and he does.
She will start hanging out with Stalker-jerk, even letting him walk her home, taking her to lunch, dining, etc., while completely ignoring Kiryuu-san.
She won't tell Kiryuu-san anything (since she's completely ignoring him).
