I understand she's worried about her brother, but the sister needs to stay out of it and mind her own business. Just because she was also assaulted does not mean she can project her baggage onto Reika, who is dealing with her issues pretty well.
@jnguy2 I mostly agree, but things can get tricky; sometimes it's not just your secret. Telling your secret is communication, but telling someone else's is dishonour. But if that's the problem he could at least tell her that's the problem.
@Purplelibraryguy that's what I mean like you can keep your secret if necessary, but like you gotta reassure someone when things are out of your control.
@jnguy2 Then we are in complete agreement, old bean. @SoloSera It's an old fashioned word you don't see much any more. And sometimes when it is used, it's by gung ho military types who often mean something stupid by it. And yet, there are times when I can't think of anything that fits better. And it can be worth using a word people aren't used to seeing--forces them to stop a moment and think. When I say "honour", I would say it means abiding fairly strictly by a principled ethical code; it's different from just, say, being a nice person. And so dishonour is violating such a code, in this case violating someone's trust--so the key thing about telling someone else's secret is not that you're being a douche because they'll be unhappy (although you are and they will) but that you presumably committed not to tell it and learned it on the basis that they believed you would not break that commitment, would not break your word--and yet you did. So, dishonour. @blueoddog Gosh, thanks.
