Way to change email easily

I asked how to get my email address changed, since I'm moving to a different email site. The answer was to PM a specific administrator. I've done so but I'd like there to be a better way to do this for others. Most sites I use allow you to do this from the site itself, just by entering in the new email in the field and then it sends you a verification email. Or something like that. It'd both add to the site's ease of use for users and reduce that admin's workload.
