@GruntZone360 I know, but it felt like the author was trying to portray it as something romantic instead of the disgusting action it actually is.
All the flowery backgrounds to symbolise it as a romantic consenting action while the lead is immobilized and begging him to stop, is in poor taste to say the least.
@okami But if you think about it, the female lead sort of did that to the Prince too, right? She did something to an unwilling person. He told her to stop many times, but she didn't. It doesn't make it okay just because she's female.
Well, I guess the author is trying to make it not too serious? We'll probably get a lot more scenes like this later on.
@Yunwu I kind of get your point but for me it just doesn't add up.
What she did in the beginning was paralyse, disarm and tease.
She even gave what the prince wanted which was a divorce.
Nor did she undress him or use him being paralysed to suck and lick on his body.
She even said she would not force him and followed up on that.
What this guy did was taking advantage of the situation under the guise of healing.
The two situations went about with completely different intentions.
@okami Yes, that's right. It's true what this guy did was worse.
Lol...about the undressing him or not bothering him again...well,
read chapter 18 and 19 again. xD
That's true...I'm not really trying to compare the two situations.
It's obvious what that guy did is horrible...and even more obvious
that the author was making light of the situation.
@Yunwu I really should read it all again.
I think that it is downplayed in lots of manhua and manga.
It's an easy way to set a character as evil for men and a female character as sexy, independent and in control at the start, which is a trope all on its own.
I mean you can't rape men right?(sarcasm)
And after reading 18 and 19 again, yup you are right.
That's rape or at the least sexual assault. Just again dressed up cute.
And the you liked it you have an erection thing is a tired trope too. Brush it against the counter or wake up from a nap and it responds. Doesn't mean you are attracted to counters and naps.
